FOOTNOTE: WRITER'S BLOCK

Well sorry for the lack of updates

Been really caught up with the play, my business and college life

Will update at the end of the coming week latest

In the mean time, something for you to ponder

When the sun sets in the evening sky,
do you find yourself one step closer to your dream
or one step further from it

If you have given up, then it is a mere folly, NOT A DREAM

CHAPTER 4-DREAMS

I was writing this post and I started tearing up
So this short phrase and picture will suffice

Dreams made
Hands held
Tears poured

CHAPTER 2-SPEAKING IN TURN

This semester, one of the subjects that I am taking is Public Speaking.



Personally, it has been just as I expected. A subject that I would enjoy and have a good time with.

For those of you who know me, you know that i LOVE to talk (sometimes when I am not even supposed to be..hehe :p)

Those of you who know me will also realize that i have no problem or confidence with speaking

However lately, i have been very doubtful of my confidence and speaking ability. This is simply because my public speaking lecturer has never had anything good to say of my speeches.

This has been a BIG blow to my self esteem that is until yesterday....

For the first time Mr Marzuki said that my speech was good! =D



It felt great to have finally met his standard (most of you might not think it is a big thing,but to me, it meant a lot)

So yes, things are picking up and life is getting better.

However certain sacrifices need to be made and for this reason, I have decided to NOT audition for ADAM the Musical.

It was a decision that was very hard to make but hopefully it is to make way for a greater opportunity. Just like not getting a chance to go for YES 2009.

A greater opportunity is waiting. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. i believe in that.

CHAPTER 1-ACTING BLUES

behind the curtains, behind the scene, away from sight

My local theater debut was awesome fun and it was amazing. I debuted in Short and Sweet Malaysia 2009 in Week 2 as the Narrator in 'All Hail The King'

I met great people like Ollie, Pat, Hunter, Rashdan, Banun, Qila and many more. I even forged a better friendship with my best friend Trisha Teo who debuted with me in the same piece.

If you click on Trisha's blog and look in a previous post you would be able to read about her account. But today I am going to talk about me.

Personally I don't feel that I have debuted properly. I was just like in the picture above, I was never seen, only my voice was heard.

Now don't get me wrong, I get it why Pat, our director didn't want me to be seen. But even till now it makes me feel that I have not debuted properly.

Hence my eagerness to get back on the stage. I jumped the moment I heard that HELP was having a play and yes I am going to be in it.

Oh by the way seeing as one of my majors is Theater (finally convinced my parent =D)
I have also decided to try out any other local theater productions.

This Thursday (2moro) I will be auditioning for ADAM the Musical. I hope to get a role and make it my 'proper' local theater debut.

PROLOGUE

I know, I know. This is probably the umpteenth time that I have revamped and resurrected my blog but this one is here to stay (hopefully anyway)

Honestly speaking I really like this concept as well as the header above. I came up with both. =)

The header above is the night time view of Times Square, US. My destination of my life!!!!!!

This theme is something dear to me simply because as a writer I tend to draw a LOT of inspiration to the quirks that happen in my real life. Thus the idea of turning my blog into a sort of storybook of my life makes sense.

If you notice, to the right, 'the book being read' sidebar is still there. That will be updated as and when I start on a new book.

Another sidebar that I have added is the 'this chapter's dream' sidebar. This will involve a picture from my collection of pictures that form my Dream Book. Hence what you see there will be goals that I personally will be striving for.

Another difference will be each of my chapters from now on will be signed off by different people. You will see what I mean soon. :p The idea is to show you from which angle I am writing the post.

Okay that will be all for now anyway. Will be updating as often as I can (hopefully this blogging fervor will be maintained)
